This one's from a special, special night. Nothing like a board op getting food poisoning in the booth- in the middle of a cue sequence!

I don't suppose anyone has a completed show report (or could quickly make one) they can upload to have a look at?

i have a few to do and unsure as what to put and the wording to use, IE... all the things that went wrong or both good and bad, past or present text, etc...

If anyone can help that would be appreciated.

a whole bunch of folks just posted their versions of show reports in another folder (one of our fearless leaders please direct...!)

you can prob figure it out w a little research (I think the hedder might include the words performance reports or rehearsal reports or something like that)

Here's a tour report -we didnt have a stage manager so it was the show report as well.

My notes are set for an email format since I always send them that way.  Here are a performance report and rehearsal report from one of the shows I did.

Honestly, there isn't much of a difference between the two but it's simplistic for email and I've never really had any complaints about it.  I adjust the categories based on who's involved in the show sometimes but for the most part it's pretty general.

Here is a copy of a rehearsal report for Cats, which I closed this past year.  I've used this format since I've been SM'ing and everyone loves it.  In Word format.  Enjoy!

This is what I use for my performance reports, in Word format. The running time table is an embedded Excel worksheet; I still use a stopwatch, as well. I usually round up or down, depending on where the act actually finishes. If the act runs, say, 59:30 or higher, I'll round it up to 1:00:00 since for management purposes, the extra :28 seconds aren't going to make much of a difference. If the act runs 59:30 or lower, I'll round down to 00:59:00, as per the example above. I still keep the exact running times, but the embedded calculator makes things easy. A time entered into the "ACT I DOWN" and "Intermission DOWN" boxes will automatically be entered into the appropriate corresponding boxes for "Intermission UP" and "ACT II UP." I have a three-act show calculator, as well; if anyone wants it, I'll be happy to send it along. Just send me a message.  The notes are numbered for easy reference, i.e. "As per performance report dated 3 June 07, note #5...blahblahblah...(something I learned from one of my mentors) and if you double click on the number corresponding to a note, a dialog box should pop up enabling you to change the number when you start a new report. I always start with Note #1 for the first performance report and carry on until we close. Sometimes, of course, this means I may be referencing Note #350 but, it makes it easy to find, if necessary.

Here's what I'm using these days.  I have blank versions in the booth which I scribble on during the show, then type up and email out to the production staff each night after I get home from the theatre.  Takes less than five minutes to type up my handwritten notes into the template and send to the distribution list ("Production Staff" or "Cast").

I have to keep around a form that is plain text friendly for copy/paste into emails. attached is my PR, but its pretty much the same for my RR.
