I too use Facebook every day, as well as Air Sharing, maps and some knitting apps that I've downloaded.

I use Yelp fairly often as well, probably weekly, and then I have a number of free games that I play on and off - I like to rotate - especially on the subway or bus. I also downloaded MobileChat, a multi-chat program, so that I can have my google chat and AIM contacts in one place. I like it better then I do AIM, but I have that as well. To date MC is the only app I've paid for, but aside from games that I downloaded and I did not like, I have yet to get an app that I don't actually use.

Oh - I use my flashlight all of the time!

John - what's city transit?

City transit is an app for NYC transit, it  has a NYC subway map and also a list of all the lines and the stops that each subway line services, and can find the nearest subway stop to where you are

I find it to be a lifesaver

Some of these have already been said, but I have to second it.

Flashlight - it's so much brighter than you'd think
Shakespeare - all of the plays. awesome and free!
To Do's - helps me know what to do next and saves paper.
Units - everything from money to measurements
Translate: Ultimate - has every language (or close to it anyway)
Easy Dictionary - love using it when doing table work on a complicated show and no one knows the meaning of a word in the script
AppGmail - check your gmail account
Tap Tap Revenge 2.6 - ok...so not truly an SM app, but if you do musicals it can help you practice with rhythm for when you call the show (it's a stretch, but I just love that game anyway). it's the same idea as rockband and such.

I'm going to plug the Chipotle Ordering App.  You can customize your burrito, place your order, and pay all before leaving the rehearsal hall, saving valuable amounts of time, because we all know that an hour lunch break is not really an hour.

I used the voice recorder that comes with all new iphones (or a relatively recent update)  today to help an actor working on a difficult accent. It helped him to be able to hear what he was saying.

Found a new one today for those of us who do a little drafting and carpentry work.  It's called math tasks and it provides you with all those different formulas for figuring out shapes and coordinates.

I use Docs 2 Go- it's amazing. It can sync everything document-wise from your laptop to the iPhone. You can view excel, word, and PowerPoint, as well as create one of those documents as well. I think it's an invaluable backup/quick reference for any of your paperwork. Heck, most of my prompt books are in electronic form, including my scripts with cues. It costs 4.99, but it is so worth it for an SM, in my opinion.

Just added Documents To Go and I LOVE it! I've gotten my last few performance reports half-way done during intermissions. I also use the stopwatch and countdown features of Clock during every show.
Stanza and Shakspeare are two good apps for having texts available.

Another program I've just discovered is Drop Box. Basically, it's an online filing cabinet. You download it, and it creates a folder for your desktop, and you can move any and all documents you want into this folder. And it is constantly synced with their online server, so it's always up to date. Basically, you can access this folder from any computer any time with internet. I love it. And it has an iphone app so you can see all of it there as well.

I'm looking for a new To-Do app.  I really like Intuition - free, great structure, fantastic categories, repeating tasks, viewable as calendar, syncs with iCal; but as I try to load it, it crashes 9 times out of 10.

Any recommendations?  I'm willing to spend some money on this.

I've got one called DoBot To-Dos.  It doesn't have all the functionality that you mentioned in the other app, but it's sufficient for my needs and hasn't ever crashed on me.  You can set due dates, priority, check completed, make notes, and sort/hide a few different ways.  I think it was free, but I've been using it so long, it's been more than worth the purchase price, if I paid one.

Anyone else finding the ability to create folders on your iPhone now a little too addicting?

YES! Pretty much every app I have is now in a folder! I was shocked and ashamed to realise I have 6 full folders of games!  :-[
