Source "Blood Knife"?
« on: Apr 30, 2008, 02:25 pm »
Anyone have a source for a really good "Sweeny Todd" style blood knife prop?  (Ya know, a prop knife that's gimmicked.)

(I'm less concerned with cost than with being in stock).

Thanks in advance!

You could duff up any prop knife using this method;-

Might be easier than using blood filled bulbs or blood packs!

e mail kwhite@nycopera.com.  We have the originals; she may rent them to you, but not cheaply. They are incredible!

Here at Syracuse University we're in the middle of our run of Sweeney right now, I know our props master did a lot of research before deciding to make them, but I know the process he decided on is decently simple, and the results are great.  I can see if I can get more info from him as well as the name of the person he spoke to when we were thinking of renting them.
