Prompt Book Dividers
« on: May 14, 2009, 06:47 pm »
Does anyone know of any tab dividers that go along the top of page? I am trying to find something to replace the flags. The only thing I can think of is to modify medical chart tab dividers. I already have tabs running down the side of the book. Thank you.

I don't know of any that are actual dividers, but I've used the bigger Post-It flags that are a little stiffer, they're about twice as wide as the normal flags and stick just fine.  They're also easier to write on than the regular flags.

My first thought would be to DIY it by simply cutting and re-attaching the tabs on a regular divider. Some sort of clear packing tape should hold them in place fairly well.

In an office supply store you should be able to find tabs like the kind that come on pre-made divider sheets (the clear or colored plastic with white insert) that have adhesive so you can attach them individually wherever you need them.  I personally prefer to just use the Durable Post-it Flags.

Never seen dividers with tabs pre-made on top, but these stick tabs are very durable and stiff just like those on most dividers. Kind of expensive but very much worth it since they last forever.

This is about the closest thing I could find.  A little on the pricey side, but at least it is a clean and presentable option.

These are what I use to tab my script (act/scene-wise). They might be a lower cost alternative.
