Overhead Mics

does anyone know what the temerature range for a cable to a Shure MX202B/C? we want to put it on a batten with lights on it (temorarily) and i was wondering if it was safe to do that without insulating the wire somehow.

That's the maximum operating range for the element, the cable should be good for way more than that.

Just make sure it's not coming in contact with the heatsink or cap of any lighting fixture where it may melt onto a specific fixture.  As said by Phil and Matt, you should be more than okay.
