USITT 2013 (Milwaukee, March 20-23)
« on: Feb 12, 2013, 02:57 am »
I'm interested to know who else on here is planning to go?

I'm actually going a day early for the firearm safety workshop, too. Taught by one of the best prop guys I've ever worked with, Jim Guy from Milwaukee Rep.

I'm not going to USITT but I went to Jim Guy's firearms safety workshop a few years ago at ACTF.  He is very informative.  They also give you a lot of helpful handouts about firearm safety.  You'll definitely learn a lot.

I considered it, but I just can never schedule that far out...

I'm going!

To Milwaukee and to that specific session too! I'm the treasurer of our technical theatre group on campus, and I've organized our trip to USITT this year. There are 6 or 7 of us who are going.

I'm really excited for it.
To be a good stage manager you need to have the soul of an artist, the mind of a director, the eye of a designer, the joy of being an actor...
and the ability to manage them all.
