'Virginia Woolf' Stage Manager's Report

Stage manager's report from Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf?

Link goes to part 1 of the 4 parts up right now. I especially liked reading about how they dealt with Sandy.

I personally would like to bring a tortoise onto the stage, turn it into a racehorse, then into a hat, a song, a dragon and a fountain of water. One can dare anything in the theatre and it is the place where one dares the least. -Ionesco

Thanks for that. Interesting to read. I like the fourth one, where he talks about specificity, and David Mamet's extra ellipses. Something I remember learning, but can always use a reminder of.

It's a pity Malcolm hasn't logged in for a while. He's got an account here. He's been legendary in Chicago since well before I arrived in the late 90's. Fun entries although I do wish they'd fix the spelling of "Manager" in the titles. :S

I did like the articles...but wow, what a fantastically horrid site to navigate.

Thanks for sharing.
