What are you thankful for?
« on: Nov 21, 2012, 10:39 pm »
Obviously this is Thanksgiving-inspired, but hopefully international folk will chime in too.

Personally, I'm thankful for working with great people, some really exciting contracts coming up, gaining health insurance, my long-distance relationship no longer being long distance, and my family and siblings cleaning my apartment and doing some decorating/organizing while I've been at work!
I personally would like to bring a tortoise onto the stage, turn it into a racehorse, then into a hat, a song, a dragon and a fountain of water. One can dare anything in the theatre and it is the place where one dares the least. -Ionesco

This year I'm thankful that I didn't have to do any version of The Nutcracker or A Christmas Carol  ;D

I'm thankful that I still have a venue after the storm.

I have once again, and now for good, have escaped UNCSA's annual Nutcracker. I am thankful for that.

Personally, It has been a very challenging year as I continue my journey into adulthood, independence, and this big, bad, "real" world. I am thankful for the people I have found and am surrounded by. Colleagues, Peers, Mentors, and Friends.

I am thankful for my ASM and my PA, without which, I would be going more crazy than I am now, with a brand new Nutcracker with 41 different kid roles, on top of 40 professional dancers looming on me in 2 weeks.
