In DC right now- Ford's Theatre's production of The Laramie Project is cancelling performances due to their performance space being shut down (as a National Park Service site). They did a performance in the rehearsal room of a nearby theatre (Woolly Mammoth) and are presenting 2 free performances at a nearby church. A terrible situation but interesting to see how they adapted to relocating to other performance spaces.

One of their PA's is a good friend of mine. She posted some fabulous pictures on facebook of the crew rolling wardrobe racks and shopping carts full of props down 7th.
You will have to sing for your supper & your mortgage, your dental coverage & your children's shoes, over & over again while people in desk jobs roll their eyes the minute you start to complain. So it's a good thing you like to sing.
