I am at Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis for Stage Management and I love it, we get production experience beginning the very first day by running auditions. Its a great place.

Also try Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.  There's a stage management class, and students interview at the end of every year to SM mainstage productions.  There's also operas, student-produced works, and theatre activism performances.  Right now I'm stage managing a new opera written by three of our faculty members, and we're flying in some international artists to work on it.

A few of my friends attend/graduate from Western Michigan University (www.wmich.edu) for undergrad in stage management.  What I know, who I know and what I've seen of their productions, the program is very strong.

Worth a look.

I'm at the University of Maryland in College Park and I love it. The program is not especially intensive--there's only one class-- but if you're willing to work hard, you can start working really early. I'm a junior and stage managing my 4th show, after having asm-ed two shows, one of which an equity blended production with Woolly Mammoth. That's just one example of the awesome collaborative work that happens being so close to DC. The facility is something like 6 years old and it's BEAUTIFUL. I would love to talk about the program. It's a great one for someone who knows this is what they want to do and is very motivated!

I'm at Long Island University, the C.W. Post campus. It is an incredible technical program (it's a major in Production & Design with concentration in Stage Management).

I'm a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. They have a really strong technical theatre program. The SM emphasis is still kind of young, but I liked that. I was able to take a more active role in my education. The students were an intregal part of the production process.
