I'm a senior in High School, and I'm stage managing my school's production of Annie. I've stage managed one show before, but I've acted in four high school shows. Problem is my director is pregnant, and due tech week. As the stage manager, do I fill her shoes during tech week? She is usually the figurehead in all shows, and everyone goes to her with silly random questions, including myself. With her being gone tech week and potentially even before that, does this mean that I now assume the role of figure head, since our assistant director is a write off?
