PROPS: Shaving Cream for Sweeney Todd

Hi - I am currently stage managing a community theatre production of Sweeney Todd School Edition, and I need a solution for a believable shave lather which will not be irritating to the eyes and will be easy to wipe off. Does anyone who has done this show or something similar have any suggestions to share? I would appreciate any help!

Hi,
I used actual shaving cream, and we placed it in a small cup and placed a shaving brush in there.

Actors would use the brush to apply the shaving cream. After, on the chair, they can use the towel to wipe off the shaving cream.

At the end of the show, I would clean the brush and cup and have them ready for the next show.
