I am just wondering where I can buy a leatherman, preferably not online but will shop online if necessary.

Your local camping/outdoors shop will probably have them, and if not, they will be able to order one in for you. Leatherman are such a well respected brand that any camping store worth it's salt will have them.

Target has carried them in the past, but it might be a seasonal thing.  I got one for my Dad for Christmas this past year.  They were on the same aisle with the flashlights.

I got mine (at a discount) at Costco some years back.  I know I've seen them at REI.

Try Ebay too.

I got my Wave for $25.

I got mine at Wal-Mart in the hunting/sports section... Right were they make the keys and sell the ammo.  ;)

REI, Dick's and other sporting goods stores always carry them and different types also. Also try the knife store at the mall.

Walmart, Bass pro shops, Dicks sporting goods, and any other sort of outfitter/outdoor gear place. If the sell canoes they probally have leathermans. I have actually converted to Gerber/ Bear, but that is because I live in a community that has a bear sale every year and i can get 30 to 40 dollar bear multitools for 5- 20. Nice ones though rugged and dependable.

I thought of this thread when I saw Leathermans in Target this week.  Take a look in any fishing/outdoorsman/sport area of most department stores.
