I liked the "don't be yourself" part for some reason. I do feel like when I go into an interview, they are getting the best of the best of me. Does that make sense? I obviously want to impress the interviewer and show them that I've done my research, but chances are, I will never wear my only-for-interviews-hurt-my-feet shoes to that office again.

Employment / SETC

I am considering going to SETC this year, but I'm an AEA member. Has anyone attended SETC and found work? Has anyone been a union member, attended SETC, and been hired through a union contract?
I had several friends attend a couple years ago but they were not union members at the time. Registration is a little pricey right now on top of traveling to the conference, but I want to make sure it will be a great experience as a union member.
