Yesterday, closing night of Little Shop, the director bought the whole crew and I roses and wrote a letter to me about how thankful he is

I need a pdf. or word script of "Animal Farm." I do not know which version yet, but any version would be greatly appreciated. Please email to: rhsstagemanagers [at] gmail.com

Thank you so much

For my current show, Little Shop of Horrors, we are using a pit cover. Therefore, there is no space for the orchestra/pit band. We are stashing them in our normal handicap area for people with wheelchairs and are taping off our front row specifically for people with handicaps. Originally we were going to have them backstage with a monitor, but we need some space for the large plant.

I just looked on its website and found out it will be $196.99. Wow, I was expecting $10 at the most. Not almost $200. Looks like I will be skipping this.

That is really interesting, my parents aren't exactly happy about me possibly majoring in stagemanagment or theatre, but this article helped sway at least my dad. Thanks

We used the pulley idea as well, but we also has a small black rag covering the pipe and shoe so no one could see it. Funny story actually, it was closing night and we were going through that scene and the director freaked out and ran backstage out from the audience. He believed that he never actually set the shoe up that night. He grabbed a flashlight and looked all around for a shoe that looked similar and the found one. He gave it to me and told me to throw it over. I, being able to remain calm, heard the cue and set off the shoe drop pulley as normal.  The shoe dropped fine and I didn't have to throw anything over. It was funny because the director just gasped and apologized

I use my iPad as ASM, I use "scan to PDF " app to get the script on my iPad and then I transfer my PDF script to "iannotate," which lets me annotate it with blocking, sound/light cues, etc...  Works well  ;D
