The Green Room / Re: Health Realted Issue

HIPPA actually only applies to people in the medical field. So unless you are this person's doctor, nurse, etc. you aren't bound by HIPPA. Unfortunately the law is often misunderstood and this person may have thought this was covered but it isn't.
I do think you have to think about the context. There are some illness that except in rare cases don't pose a danger to anyone but should be told to a paramedic in case of an emergency (in your list above think cancer, strained muscle, pregnancy, herpes (unless there is bodily fluid exchange in which case you need back up blocking in case of an outbreak)). There are other diseases that pose a danger to the people around them and that can't be overlooked (think mono, chicken pox).

Every code is different but there is specific language in the LORT rule book about this:
53(B (9)) states "(9) Dressing room entrances and windows shall be properly masked from the
view of the audience to insure the Actor’s privacy."
53 (C (5)) states "(5) Any walkway between the dressing rooms and toilet facilities shall be masked
from the view of the audience"

I have the option to turn all alerts except Presidential Alerts. I have an Android and when I open CMAS and go to menu, then settings,  I can disable Amber Alerts & for Imminent threat alerts I can select 'All alerts', 'Extreme alerts only', or 'off.'

I'm looking for the sheet music for Devil in Disguise from All Shook Up the Broadway version.

I'm going to go the old fashioned route and get the hard copy (gasp) from my library but I'm in.

6. When we request props, we will get the exact item immediately without any rehearsal standins that are "similar."

The PA position that I had was hourly with overtime. It was great, there were weeks when I made more than the PSM and I had health insurance through the theatre company.

That being said, I will not do an unpaid internship. There were times in my life when I considered it, but while I was in school, every summer I had to take a paying job so that I could pay for school and once I was out of school I had bills to pay. Unfortunately, this does set up a division in our country; between people that can afford to take unpaid internships because they have other methods of support and people that simply can't afford to do this. I've always been in the group that can't afford to do one.

Looking for:

Nunsensations (The Vegas Revue)
All Shook Up
A Chorus Line

PDF or word is fine.

Since they're making an Angry Birds movie, the stage adaptation of it can't be that far behind  ::)

One of the theatres I worked for ordered them directly from Ricola by the case. I believe they charged us $65 for the case plus shipping, which I think was a discount.

Try contacting them directly at
6 Campus Drive, Second Floor South Parsippany N.J. 07054
Phone: 973-984-6811

My company had a direct contact with someone there that I don't feel comfortable giving out, but try calling them directly.

Just found out my summer season  :)

I'm looking for:
West Side Story
Singin' in the Rain
Little Shop of Horrors.

PDF or Word is fine.
