Sound advice.

Yes, always, but I never bring them up unless asked directly, and even then, keep anything I say vague and positive.

A bobble- like a BRITA filter in a bottle! Nice and big, and there are two main positives over just buying bottles at the supermarket- I don't lose it, because it's enough money that I care about it; and it doesn't get all soft and crinkly after a few refills!

I don't really make tea or coffee- I grab one when I'm buying breakfast, but that's about it.

I have the yellow one. It's awesome. Even if it's open, it really doesn't spill when you knock it over - which is occasionally wonderful. The only drawback is that it can be a bit noisy to drink during the quiet moments of rehearsal.

Have not been in this position, but - borrowing from a similar suggestion on another thread - perhaps a way to do this is a little * beside your AEA jobs, and a small note indicating what the * means. That allows you to keep you resume organized whichever way you prefer.

If they have a phone number at which they are able to be reached (wherever they are), I would just list that. Either the area code will give it away, or, if you like, you could just put in a little *note saying 'out of country - extra fees may apply.'

Fair enough. Although you may have stumbled across what they call a first draft...

I composed an original German/English opera in my sleep

Show off.

I've had tech-week nightmares of having to open the show as is. I always wake up gasping with relief: "Three more days...we've got...three more...it's okay...three more days..."

I usually hear/use "snap" for the same thing ("snap to black").

I should add, I wasn't even allowed to go into my theatre classroom during my last semester of high school, because I "threw a chair at my director",

What?!  :o

I just saw this show yesterday at the NAC (in Ottawa). They did a series of videos on the creation process - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvqlJLaQahQ.

It took me a while to relax and watch the show - the set just looked so pointy and slippery. But it was interesting to go up close after and see the materials they'd chosen to build with.

So pleased this post got a bump. That chicken story is the funniest thing I've read in ages.
