Looking for a copy of the script for Singin' in the Rain. Any help would be appreciated.

I actually ran into this situation last year. The other ASM on a show I was doing said she had a nut allergy but said it had been a long time since she had had a reaction, so it was not really a dire situation. One day I was in rehearsal, eating trail mix with peanuts and while we were having a conversation she felt her throat starting to react, she couldn't talk for two days. We also realized that anything that nuts touched could be a potential problem so me and the SM cleaned the tables that nuts had been on before she could touch them.

I'm at DePaul in Chicago, we have a BFA Stage Management program. I am really enjoying it, alot of hands on learning, its in a great theatre community and has alot of connections in the theatres around Chicago and elsewhere. Feel free to PM me.

I too am looking for colleges and Ithaca was on my list but the one that really caught my eye was DePaul. Can anyone give me advice on either?

I am currently a Depaul Stage Management student, I would love to talk to you about the school, I really like the program. Feel free to PM me.

A little off topic but on one design meeting report that I saw earlier this year the SM just put "Fix everything with lights and sound" as a note.

I am currently a student at Depaul University in Chicago for Stage Management

Thanks everyone, this really helps alot. And the reason I said community was because I was denied to the state schools I applied for, my GPA isn't great (I spent to much time in the theatre, and let my grades slide to much).

Hi everyone, today I was faced with a choice. I was accepted to Depaul for stage management, a private conservatory that only accepts four applicants a year with a high price tag ($40K a year). However I got a $6K Scholarship per year which helps. But I don't know if I should go to Depaul or go to community for 2 years then go to a state school. So I guess my question is, would it be worth going to Depaul? I think it would definitely be more of a challenge and maybe a better experience but is it worth the price tag? Would it help a possible career in stage management? I really like the school, but I'm conflicted, if anyone could provide any incite it would be appreciated. Thanks.
