I'm working on my first mainstage production of Cider House Rules starting mid January. I have the script and the show has been cast. What can I do to hit the gorund running when the show starts? What are things that are usefull to know in advance and what are just filler information that isnt needed?  If you could help me that would be great I want to do a good job on this show.
Thanks

Stage Management: Plays & Musicals / ASMS: Great ASM

I'm working on a show next school quarter and I want to encourage good ASMs. Do you have any suggestions? If I were to go to oddlots and get supplies for them what would be the best kit for a great ASM?

Stage Management: Plays & Musicals / PROFESSIONALISM: Doodles

Is doodling bad rehearsal manners? I find when directors are doing scene work and table work I end up doodling. Is that offensive or bad? Should I stomp this out before I leave college and am in the real world?

:x Hey everyone,
I was wondering if you also experienced the pleasure or more likely the pain of getting sick going in to tech rehearsals. This is the second time in a row that I have gotten sick. Does anyone know at way to stop this cycle? For the future are there any tricks of the trade to get better sooner? or better yet not get sick at all. I take vitamins and drink plenty of water wash hands. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
