The Green Room / Re: Easiest Group of People to Work With?
« on: Mar 20, 2015, 03:44 pm »
I've worked with all types of people of different colors, ages, backgrounds an professions when it comes to the stage but the EASIEST group, hands down: All male casts or crews!

Last year I worked with the worst most disrespectful people but 2015 is looking up! My Off-Broadway cast of 5 males and females was my favorite group. In February I did a festival of 4 males and they were so sweet, disciplined and focused. They were pure gentlemen and there was NO drama.

I am working with a all male crew now and I love it! Everything is so smooth, thorough and seamless They don't need to be directed for the most part, and the same deal as above!

Okay, I may or may have not remixed Beyoncé's song.  ;)

Hey all, My name is Chelsea and I am new AEA stage manager hailing from Brooklyn, NY. I have my BFA degree in Stage Management from Rutgers- Mason Gross (we're all pretty much awesome) and I know there are few of my fellow colleagues swimming around on here. I am a local NJ/NYC stage manager and just closed my first off-Broadway run as the head PSM.

Truth is, I've been a fan of this forum since I was a pup in high school learning about stage management and would read up religiously itching to gain all the knowledge I could. Years later as a woman, it's only now I feel comfortable joining sites like these. Now that I have my AEA card, I feel 'good enough'. Weird, but I've truly been through a lot on my journey to get to where I am today.

It's great to meet all of you, I love making friends with the coolest and hardest workers in the business - US!
