I use and love using google drive.

If it is something that needs to be edited a lot then I use the drive applications.

If it is something that isn't going to be edited much or at all I will make it and upload it as a PDF. (I also use acrobat and love it.)

All my stagehands and stage leaders love it, easy access, restrict editing power, and cross platform. If anyone wants a peek into my stage folder/s let me know and I can point you to a link.

I usually go with the basic, plain and simple form:

7:30 - 30 Min to curtain (95% of people will be in the black box at this time)
7:45 - 15 Till curtain
7:55 - 5 till TOS (places, crew at least in the scene shop (which is behind the stage and has access) and props/headset/etc. checked)
8:00 - Show starts

Even if we are holding house for 5-10 min we still stick with the same times because actors tend to be a pain.

Stage Management: Plays & Musicals / Computerizing Running Crew
« on: Mar 06, 2014, 01:27 pm »
We are looking to organize our running crew way more then what it is now (which is nothing really). We are looking to use more technology like things to be more fluent with scene changes, jobs, set up etc. What ideas do you guys have?
