Hi, all.  I'd love some feedback on the House Management Report that is used in your venue(s).
What information does it include?
Is it a requirement to have one?  What are the benefits of having this document?
Thank you!

Hi, all.  Thank you for the responses.  Yes, we will have a stunt person to teach the actor how to fall properly.  I'll check the ratings (if they are listed) on our pads.  They are bright blue canvas-covered pads that are about 3 ft. thick and 7 ft. long by 5 ft wide.  It'll be a fall from a scenic element to the pad in full view of the audience (this is Brecht--they're not trying to hide anything).
I'm fortunate in that the artistic team knows how strict the Production Staff can be regarding safety, so they have already begun to think in terms of keeping the actress (who is doing the stunt herself, after learning the proper protocol from our stunt person) safe.  I'm just gathering info so we have a ton of great ideas on this.  Thanks so much for the replies--feel free to keep 'em coming!

Hi, all.

Anyone have any advice on the following:

In an upcoming play, the artistic team would like an actor to fall roughly 7 feet onto a crash pad.  We currently have some in stock--are there rules about how we need to handle this at a university (the actor is a student)?

Things I'm considering: dimensions of crash pad... thickness, material... any other notes about the fall itself.  We'll have a stunt person involved.  Any thoughts or advice here would be appreciated though.  Thanks!
