The Green Room / Re: What about my dog?
« on: Apr 08, 2013, 06:48 pm »
We've been semi-casual in our conversations up to this point.  I wasn't as concerned with the wording, and naturally didn't mention that I'd be sad without her.  I understand that a poorly worded email can reflect negatively upon the sender.  I shouldn't have said earlier that my email would be "very much like" what I typed here.

The internship is 10 months, and far from where I live now, so I'll just leave her with my boyfriend.  It isn't really a problem.

She said they don't allow cats.  Which makes total sense, as they could later employ a person with severe cat allergies.  Cat hair never really comes out of carpet.

Thanks for the input, everyone :D

Thanks guys!  I think I'm going to put this in the email of questions I'm sending--worded very much like this-- and see if it is okay.  I really don't have to take her at all, as my live-in boyfriend would be happy to keep her, but I'd definitely be sad.

I've been offered an internship position that provides me with a room in either a 2 or 4 bedroom apartment.  I have a cat, and while I don't have to bring her (my boyfriend adores her), I would be really sad without her.  Has anyone been in this kind of position?  Were you allowed to have your cat?

The Green Room / Re: FACEWASH - clean up your facebook profile.

Thank you for this!  I've had a facebook since 2007, and I honestly can't remember what I've posted in the past.  I've attempted to clean it up multiple times, but this got all the things that fell through the cracks.

One of my fellow SMs on the show I'm currently working on shared this the other day... Fantastic.

That's a little discouraging.  I was really looking forward to it, as last year I was stage managing a show and wasn't able to attend.  I'm looking for year long work, and now I'm a tad bit worried that I won't be able to find anyone willing to hire me.  Not that that's the only way I'm looking for jobs, but still.

I have some actor friends that have used wix.  It's free and has minimal ads.  I just made my website live, what do you guys think?
