Students and Novice Stage Managers / NYSTEA: 2009

Is anyone here going to the NYSTEA (New York State Theater Education Association) conference this coming week?

Let me know, NYSTEA is always so much fun and a great networking opportunity but not many SMs go!
Hit me up, we should most certainly hang out!

Yes, I know it should technically be posted in regional advice but it is a student conference so I thought it would be more applicable here.

College and Graduate Studies / Niagara University

I'm a senior applying to colleges for stage management and Niagara is one of my safety schools
I'm doing a bit more research on it and I cant believe its a safety and so easy to get into!
Its relatively unknown from what i can gather so I'm wondering if anyone here has heard of it.

I didn't really get any SM gifts this year, paying for all these apps to schools I guess is kind of a SM gift because its what I'll be majoring in.
however, my favorite SM gift that I've ever received in past was Th Stage Management Handbook by Daniel Ionazzi.  Its great, and full of practical information and advice.  It also has all the Equity information for SMs.
