Tools of the Trade / Prop: Drugs on stage

In the play I am currently working on there is a lot of drugs involved. I need help figuring out what we can use for marijuana and cocaine. The marijuana needs to smoked and rolled on stage. The cocaine is snort on stage. What we are looking at for marijuana is using some sort of herb and for cocaine we looked at using powder sugar. The director did not like the powder sugar. If y'all have any suggestion it would be great to hear from y'all.

My school is putting on the play Noises Off and we open on this Wednesday. The set is not built and the actors do not know their lines. Is there anything I can do to help?

As a freshman you are trying to fit in with the upper class-man. I think that as a stage manager you need to be in charge and not that them boss you around. The upper class-man will then respect for not giving in. It is your job as a stage manager to be in charge. Once you lose the ability of being in charge you lose your ability to be a stage manager. You can not make them feel unimportant though. You must be able to make them feel like you are listening to them. It is your job as a stage manager to be the drill sergeant and  the cheer leader for everybody in the production. Please keep me informed.

I am currently Sm a show for my school  and the dictator wants me to act in the show. What should I do? If I act how should call the show?
