I have applied to over 30 summer places since December. I have had 4 interviews, and still haven't obtained a position. I have had 3 Stage Management Internships, 2 Company Management at reputable companies. I have  B.A. in theatre and have worked at professional companies. I've had a mock interview with a PSM who says my interviewing is not what is preventing me from finding a position. I spend hours searching job search engines and individual websites. My second job is applying for jobs.
So my questions are what else can I do?

I had a friend of mine go backstage after a Broadway show and hand the security person her resume, saying she wanted to shadow the Stage  Manager, and to please have them contact her. The Stage Manager of Wicked did contact her and she did shadow. However, her resume was good. I don't know if they'll contact everyone who attempts that. Off-Broadway might work too, if you don't mind walking in the stage door un-invited it is worth a shot.

I was injured during tech. My toe has been broken for quiet sometime. I was Assistant Stage Managing The Phantom of the Opera and I fell down the rest of a spiral stair case in the wing stage right. I sat down for a few minutes and iced it. While I have a crew member bring me the money music box and a screwdriver so I could change its batteries. My foot was injured and it hurt to walk. As usual I iced my foot in between running around re-spiking during tech. As long as I can actually still walk I will keep going.
