Best advice I have:  Don't worry about making mistakes, because they will be made.  Simply, admit to them and put your energy to correcting them and making sure they don't happen again rather than fretting over something that has already happened.

good tip:

take the cards that come in the mail with credit card offers,
and wrap gaff...

I keep it in my wallet and then when ever I need some in a hurry, don't have to go looking for the rolls that always seem to mysteriously disappear...

I can only say that I am able to get so many SM gigs by being able to manipulate my schedule to fit the demands of the show.

I'm only a senior in High School, but I have successfully SMed most shows at my school.  This spring I was even approached for a paying SMed position, even though I turned it down in order to work on my last show in my last year of high school with the theater program that has been with me for the past four years.

In order to do the best I can, I have gone so far as to take leaves from my part-time job, given up varsity sports, etc...

You need to ask yourself if this is what you want to do,
if dance lessons are more important, which is fine if they really are, than maybe you might want to re-evaluate things...
