All orchestra stand lights have built in blue gel, and all music is written in clear font large enough to be read in the pit without the maestro or the lighting designer complaining that it is too dark or the pit is glowing like crazy...

Frighteningly, I have actually made a Tron costume for a former significant other.  Glow tape was involved, but there was also a large amount of glow paint used as well...

All rehearsals will take place on the actual set (which can be moved into the rehearsal room by someone other than stage management).  This way when there are stairs, multiple levels, or doors the director can't say "we will figure that out when we get to the theatre."

I have frequently described my job as part mom, part drill sargent, and part traffic cop...   :)

(tho I may have to start using air traffic control instead of traffic cop, because that is much better!)

I am looking for a copy of Jesus Christ Superstar, just the libretto, not the score.  A non-editable .pdf would be fine.  (We have tried to scan our preview copy, but it is bound too tightly and we are missing the end of every line.)  If you might have it you can PM me.
