So, some questions in my mind:
1. What is the budget for a band show with approx. 150 audience, in a studio theatre? What's the money spent on? If any budget sample can be provided it would be HIGHLY appreciated : )
2. I am doing researches on tech riders of band shows and I come across the terms PA system and sub mix, what do these two terms mean?
3. What does FOH technician do?

1. what is the budget for, lights, sound, PR?

2. PA system- speakers, amplifiers, mixers, processing, microphones.
The submix is usually that audio that is fed to the monitor mixer and in turn the speakers that the musicians have on stage.

3. The FOH Engineer operates the PA system, the "submix" or monitor system usually has a separate operator.

Wow, that's a pretty cool service.
If only I had a smart phone.

You should take a look at these cases.

I really like these, although a bit pricey.
The price is comparable to what I've seen on the market lately.
EWI cases are the cheapest cases worth buying.

A mid grade equivalent from a major company could run upwards of $600.

It looks like you can program 199 cues.
You should call a dealer or rep and explain your needs, they will guide you to the right product.

Ohh..I see what's wrong.
Motorola uses what appears to be a standard 2.5mm cordless telephone audio jack.
It is in fact proprietary connector that is slightly longer and incompatible.

You need Motorola headsets.

Get one to check and see if you have damaged the radios by forcing the plugs.

If they are Motorola you absolutely must plug in the accessory before you power on.
If it falls out, turn off the radio, plug in, and then power up.

This is sweet, I can finally take pictures without the blue light of the screen reflecting off my glasses!

they cost 50 pounds, which is more like $90.
My mistake, that's even worse.

In my high school we only used warnings on special cues like a glass shattering backstage.
Live glass breaking?
Oh my!

I hid every pen I could find in the theatre.

Tools of the Trade / Re: Soldering irons?

Basically solder is a metallic compound (usually with a lead base)
Not anymore.
Flat out illegal in Europe, and soon to be in the US from what I hear.

I'm not saying to "fire" them, but rather take the person who is the worst out of the authority position.
For instance, swapping the A1 and A2.

If the sound has feedback tomorrow, put it on the report. If it has feedback the next day, on the report again. Sooner or later they'll get the hint.
I re-read the original post and found a few things.
Monitoring 14 mics especially of the wireless variety is not what I call easy.
-

Changing 15 cables, (meaning one got replaced twice).
Strike 1

Noticeable feedback in a rehearsed show.
Strike 2

uldLate sound effects happen, because playback devices(cheap or old ones especially) are prone to mess up when least convenient.
Depending on the frequency and reason this could be a strike or not.

ClearCom broken- what kind of sound tech can't use a soldering iron?
Sounds like an excuse not to communicate.
Strike 3

Being rude and disrespectful.
Strike 4

If they can be replaced it needs to be done.
