So maybe it's me just thriving on checklists but I have been browsing the site looking for a good thread on what to pack for working at a summer stock. This summer I will be working out of state, driving about 22 hours from where I call home for my job. It will be my first experience being so far away from home and I am wondering what I should bring with me.

For other clarification, the only thing I will be supplied with this summer is a room, a bed, and a dresser. I know that I will be bringing at least two sets of sheets and towels. Haha.

Students and Novice Stage Managers / Re: Mentorship Program

It's been almost a year since anything has been posted on this board and as an up and coming stage manager I would be quite interested in a mentorship program. How did the past mentoring project work?

Does anyone have a packing list for going on a summer gig out of state? (I'm from Michigan and I'm going to South Dakota.)

Just got my summer shows.

Anyone have GODSPELL book by John Michael Tebelak, music/lyrics by Stephen Schwartz
or
THREE MUSKETEERS by Ken Ludwig, Adapted from the novel by Alexander Dumas

Thanks for your time!

Still looking for these if anyone has it...

When do you think this app will be available to test again? Or even just look at? I'm extremely interested.

Tools of the Trade / Re: Favorite Bag

While I'm not commenting for the sake of an ultimate holding bag, I do have this awesome bag from Jamie Raquel ( http://www.jamieraquel.com/ ). It is basically a file box that has three pockets and is stylish to carry. I often use this for special paper I generally need to grab right at the beginning of rehearsal as well as my keys, wallet, cell phone, etc. It fits my netbook perfectly too!

I just got a second bag from the same site. I have the lime green version and the purple version.

Tools of the Trade / Re: Useful iPhone apps?

Some useful iPod apps that I use include the following:

Flashlight
iTriage (great for the rare emergencies, more of a 'just in case' application)
Convert Units (there are ALL SORTS of things that it will convert, angles, currency, data, temperature, length, etc.)
Battery Magic (I have the free version, and it's really helpful for figuring out if I need to plug in my iPod so I don't completely kill it)

I hope some of this is useful!

Tools of the Trade / Re: Online Rehearsal Calendars

As a student, I don't have the budget to buy the online software. I'd be interested in trying it out for the production I'm doing this upcoming semester at school. I'm doing a show that auditions later this month, rehearses from February to April, and then performances are in April.
If you're looking for feedback and would be willing to let me use a free trial, I would love the opportunity. I hope all goes well with the software regardless however!
