wow that's really neat and helpful! thanks! i've already done the show and we just used like eye makeup with different shades of brown. but that's a really neat and cheap way to make dirt! THanks!

Hey everyone,
I'm working on a show called Urinetown, which I'm sure most of you have heard of... I was just wondering if anyone know how to make dirt for stage makeup. The main question i have is how to keep it on and not come off, and other great tips for a dirty effect. Thanks.

haha I just meant that they are a little different costume wise sometimes... i don't know
They asked me to wear all black beacuse the actors wear all black in show

For The record, teching a Chorus Line was the easiest show I've ever worked on. The only sets that moved were the mirrors that in like 4 parts in the show turn around and become black.. and at the end of the show.. the tape gets taken off the stage and THAT'S IT.

We didn't have to stop the show because it was just as the performers were bowing. It was a children's show so there was SOO many kids. One of them escaped the house and went into the lobby and pulled the firealarm. We had to evacuate the theatre not knowing what happened for so long. It was pretty frustrating.

I'm ASMing The Music Man for a new theatre company. And I've never been as ASM before for a company I haven't worked with before. What questions should I ask. Should I assume my duties? What should I be prepared to do and not do? All the help is much appreciated.
