Introductions / Bonjour!

If you're wondering I'm not french I was just trying to mix things up a bit (:
I'm Heather, 18 years old.
I've been involved in amateur dramatics since I was 6, mainly performing. In 2011 I stepped behind the curtain and haven't looked back since! I'm currently studying for a BTEC diploma in Theatre Technology and Stage Management and am currently in the process of applying for university to study stage management. I mainly fufill the role of Assistant Stage Manager in amateur roles and have also received my first professional stage management credit, christmas just past.
Next week I am Assistant Stage Manager in a devised piece called What the Dickens. The month after I am playing Denny Blood in a production called Bad Girls and then I hit assessment time at college; I'm LX operator for a version of The Laramie Project and DSM for a production of The Broken Heart which I am much looking forward to.
I've been reading these forums quite a lot lately and been enjoying the various ideas and tips so thought i'd get involved (:
Please reply if you have any advice or just to say a friendly hello!
