As part of the preshow announcement, do you need to announce if you're using non firing weapons in a stage production?

Homework Help / Re: (Homework [Help) Me!]
« on: Jan 30, 2015, 05:45 pm »
Talk about some great collaboration, this thread was wonderful and you found a very positive resolution!!!
With that in mind, I'm currently trying to gather more stage manager situations that would require my class
to review and discuss what they would do. If anyone could respond with some of there unique situations and or simple
"What would you do if..." situations I could then reply with what my students came up with.
Take care,

Thank you for the reminder and thank you for the one syllable word to refer to
that particular area!

Stage Management: Plays & Musicals / Verbiage on Calling Cues
« on: Oct 19, 2013, 02:02 pm »
Always Learning,
I've worked with the belief of when calling of cues
to have the least amount of syllables and with numbers.
So that you're not saying too much, especially with a stack of different cues.
An example would be  LQ-1, SQ-1, Spot-1, Fly-1, etc.
So with that in mind, my question is for Projections and what wordage
have you used and why?
