.....having your lighting designer tell you that they've cut half of the cues.... or that they are now auto follows.

.....showing up to the theatre and having your crew already working on their preshow presets.

.....crossing something off your ever growing to do list... or deleting emails!

Tools of the Trade / Stage Management History

Pardon my ignorance, but...

I'm currently doing a show where one of the characters is a stage manager. Thing is, it is set in 1959 and I wondering what kind of equipment (i.e. headsets) did stage managers having in the late 50s. Any advice?
