I actually am from the Kansas City area but never really thought about that as an option but I have a friend that has done tech work there.  Also my professor in Joplin just really recommended UMKC to me today

Where at in Southwest Missouri? Thats where I am from as well. I am orignally from Kansas City so I have a few people up there.
