Yeah, I think printing to .pdf will solve my second problem. I'm always nervous emailing my resume because I know the formatting will be wonky if they open it as an HTML document instead of downloading it.

PS- Anyone have an opinion on putting your picture on a resume? Personally, I think it's a little silly but I've seen a number of resumes that have them.

Okay, this might be a strange question but I was curious to know what computer programs people use to type their resumes. I use Word for everything but I've come to the conclusion that for resumes, it's a pain to format and the end result always looks totally rudimentary. I used to be a layout editor for my school newspaper back in the day, so I've been thinking about dusting off my PageMaker software and trying that out. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm about to begin my first professional gig and I have a bit of an issue.

I'm going to be SMing three productions at the Capital Playhouse in Olympia this summer and I'm fairly nervous because they do children's theater. For each show, I'll be responsible for a cast of 25 to 50 actors, ages 8-18. I've never worked with kids before but I'm saavy enough to realize that it's probably a whole other ballgame. Can anyone give me some advice on common issues/ what to expect/ things to adjust with managing lil' chittlens?
