The Production Stage Manager provides logistical and supervisory expertise in supporting productions/performances, conferences, events, rentals, and other activities taking place in the Lang Performing Arts Center. Tasks performed with a great deal of independence include: managing and supervising the student labor force, as well as managing events held in the LPAC and other campus locations; serving as Stage Manager for major events in Pearson-Hall Theater, preparing production paperwork for faculty, student, and rental projects, and completing arrangements for performances by visiting artists; maintaining supplies and providing judgment on replacements; assigning tasks to and supervising 10-15 student workers. Works as a part of the Production Team of Lang Performing Arts Center communication task force. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

At least 5 years professional experience desired, 3 years supervisory position or equivalent proven professional experience.
Working knowledge and extensive professional experience in production management and operations of the performing arts.
Expertise in FileMaker, OmniPlan.
Familiarity with QLAB, PRO Tools and ETC lighting Software.Google Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication in the English language.
Demonstrated ability in managing a diverse population in terms of age and cultural backgrounds
Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in higher education production
