Hello All,
My name is Matt Norby. After attaining my BFA- with Stage Management Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater I returned home and found some jobs that were not in theatre. I spent countless time working for our local community theatre, Players de Noc. I specialize in lighting, props and stage management. I have also recently added house managing and online ticket sales manager to my repertoire.
Starting in May I was asked to be a PSM for a musical review between Players de Noc and our local Casino. I had not stage managed since '09. I was excited and ready for the challenge. Starting with auditions in July and the performances just finishing this past weekend I have found both a love and an appreciation for how much work stage managing is. My plan is to be working professionally in theatre within the next five years.
