Hello! I'm Allison. I'm a student at the University of Georgia (Go dawgs!) and hope to become a professional stage manager when I graduate. My dream job would be to work in the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta or a Broadway Theatre in New York, or wherever I can get a job. Although I haven't stage managed many shows before I know that I love the craziness and greatness that is stage management.
I got into stage management from performing and realized that I preferred to work behind the curtain rather than in front. I have stage managed traveling shows at my high school that have won local competitions and just did a show at UGA that was the world premier. I can't wait to work on more shows at UGA and in the community where I live.
I also love music, particularly singing, my dog, dancing (even though I am a horrible dancer), and reading. I am thrilled to have found a site that will help me to grow in my knowledge of stage management. In the browsing I have already done I have learned so much. I am excited to explore the site more!
