I didn't realize that this website is for stage managers but I'm happy to be here. I belong to a group called The Little Beach Players and we read plays and/or musicals once a month at a friends house. It's a lot of fun and we mostly read musicals. We dole out parts and the host is the musical director. He plays the musical cd at the spots that require singing and we have our "stage manager" reading all the stage directions. We've a lot of plays since I started attending about 12 years ago. The only musical that I haven't been able to find for our host is Mr. President. I've tried but the company that owns the rights wants a production and we only read. Anyway, thank you for allowing me to participate in your website.
