Fell Into Stage Management and Found A Passion!

Greetings All!

My name is Chasmin and I reside in Charlotte, NC. I began Stage Managing in 2009, when my college professor needed help with an outside production. I found out he was looking for a Stage Manager, I had never done it before but thought I could do it, and the rest is history! I moved into production management when I moved to New York City, but still stage managed in the evenings. I even met my wife there who was a Stage Manager as well! I do not Stage Manage much now, but I oversee the Stage Managers at my current place of work as an Assistant Production Manager. I feel like Stage Managers are vital, and many times unsupported and my goal is to support, create processes, and gain more insight as I continue on my journey! I look forward to always learning more, and to use this network as a valuable resource!
