Another emerging SM from DC!

Hello all!

My name is Morgan and I'm a senior majoring in theatre at Gallaudet University. (Yes, where Faction of Fools is currently residing!) I'm currently their assistant stage manager for A Commedia Christmas Carol. I've also stage managed two other shows throughout my college career. This profession picked me; I had never thought of being a stage manager until I did a student production and found how I fit into this field very well.

I was told about this forum and I got really excited by the chance of meeting others who are likeminded as well. I'm very curious as to how the SM world works and how I can incorporate my different skills that I acquired throughout my life as a deaf person into the SM field.

Hi and welcome from another DC area SM! I'd be really interested in hearing about your experiences, and I think others would as well. There have been a couple of folks from Gallaudet on the boards before, and there has been some interest in sign-language theatre and deaf theatre so I'm looking forward to your posts! Welcome.
