Lightweight Headsets - Telex PH-150?
« on: Dec 07, 2010, 08:05 am »
Hey guys.. I'm interested in getting a single, over the ear headset. Has anyone used the Telex PH-150? I believe it would be compatible with clearcom but can't seem to find the info. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

It should be compatible with clearcom, just make sure you order the headset with an A4F connector (4-pin XLR Female) as Clearcom beltpacks use an A4M connector for the headset (4-pin XLR Male).

Picking up this conversation and expanding it:

Does anyone have thoughts on the following brands or models?
Telex PH-88 (=97&fam[]=100]http://telex.com/us/intercom/product/PH-88/1145?fam[]=97&fam[]=100)
Clearcom CC-27 (http://www.clearcom.com/product/accessories/intercom-headsets/cc-27/descriptions)
Eartec Fushion (http://www.eartec.com/Headsets/fusionwrd.html)

Telex is a good basic lightweight headset. Clearcom is a reliable brand, but the earpiece style is liable to fall out. And eartec has the best design and price, but I have no idea about the quality or reliability. Any thoughts or other recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
