Hummus That Won't Stain?

Any ideas on hummus that won't stain?

I don't know this with any certainty, but my guess would be that the stain is from the oil in the hummous.  Does it need to be edible?  You could try making an oil-free recipe and testing that out in a discreet location.

I think we will just go with watered down sour cream. The actor can control where the goop hits her (hidden by her purse) and it will read as goop on her. No color necessary.  Then the other actors can eat real hummus. I will preset a film container in her purse. Am I thinking this out too much? Oh, yes!  Hummus can stain! I will let you know if it works. Still willing to hear any other suggestions!  Thank you!

Isn't a milk based product like sour cream just as bad?  Why not just purée a can of beans?  That can't be any worse than an oil or milk based product.
