What are the other Unions that can be joined for stage managing. I live in Canada BTW. Thanks alot!  :lol:

What do those acronyms stand for Matthew? I don't think I've ever heard of them myself!  :o

American Guild of Musical Artists (opera)

American Guild of Variety Artists (think circus)

Also, if you SM in video, then you might have to think of Aftra. American Federation of Television & Recording Artists  

(I am sure there are Candian versions of these unions as well)

Have you considered the Stage Managers Association, they are based out of NYC but they are a very good group (They are not a "union"). I didn't know if you are just looking for "union". Hope this helps  :P
