LOA-NYC Rulebook?
« on: Jan 09, 2007, 03:00 pm »
Does anyone know which rulebook this references?  I can't find it listed on the AEA website.  Closest thing I found was that it's affiliated with the Off-Broadway contract.  I just wanted to make sure that was the rulebook it followed.  I've got an interview with one of the companies tomorrow and wanted to prepare.  Thanks in advance.

I got this from the Equity website. Hope this helps.

"Referenced to the Off-Broadway Agreement and limited to theatres of not more than 199 seats, the New York City Letter of Agreement (LOA-NYC) is specifically designated for use by seasonal, non-profit theatre companies.

Although the terms and work rules of the LOA-NYC are established, the weekly minimum salaries are individually negotiated between Equity and the theatre companies. Approximately twenty New York City theatre companies use the LOA-NYC."

Yeah that's what I found as well.  Thanks.  I'm guessing for now that it uses the Off-Broadway Rulebook and will go from there.
