EMC points question
« on: Mar 23, 2011, 07:42 pm »
i am part of the EMC program.  if i go over my 50 weeks but one week, does that mean the theatre company (an equity house) will have to pay me on an equity scale for that one week?  or does it mean the theatre company will have to offer me an equity contract because of that one week? thoughts?  thanks.

My understanding is now, any NEW contract would have to be AEA.

And my thoughts are the Theatre could ask AEA for a waiver of that last qualifying week and any new contracts, like Matthew said, would be AEA. When in doubt, ask Equity!
