Deals and discounts for SMs
« on: Aug 12, 2010, 03:39 pm »
Thought I'd start a post to help frugal SMs....inspired by the MASSIVE school supply sale at Target in Manhattan right now. Packs of pencils and folders are $1!

So- post your money-saving tips for SMs here.

Personally, I love the Staples reward card....10% back on every purchase (including copies). Lots of coupons too.

Another tip I picked up from an SM friend- she has a GAP credit card that's only used for show purchases where she will be reimbursed. She pays it off with the reimbursement money and earns points towards a GAP card!
I personally would like to bring a tortoise onto the stage, turn it into a racehorse, then into a hat, a song, a dragon and a fountain of water. One can dare anything in the theatre and it is the place where one dares the least. -Ionesco

Unionplus is only for AEA members, correct? What about Working Advantage?

Working Advantage is associated with businesses and professional organizations...  So you don't have to be a UNION member but you have to work for/with a business/organization (such as AEA) that subscribes.
