Stage manager portfolio-Help!
« on: Nov 10, 2015, 11:47 am »
As a senior in high school I am sending out my portfolio to the universities I am applying to. I have never made a portfolio before and I'm not exactly sure what I should include.
What do you think are the documents that I should absolutely have in my portfolio?
How long should my portfolio be?
Are there any documents that aren't really that necessary to include?
How many shows should I feature in my portfolio?
And do you have any other tips or advice?

I could really use the help! Thanks so much!

Hi Lucy! Welcome to SMNetwork!

This is a topic we've discussed at length. If you do a search for "portfolio" in the top right corner (make sure you select "Entire Forum"), you'll see a number of discussions about Stage Management portfolios.

Good luck with your college applications!
You will have to sing for your supper & your mortgage, your dental coverage & your children's shoes, over & over again while people in desk jobs roll their eyes the minute you start to complain. So it's a good thing you like to sing.

Locked as a duplicate for now. Lucy, if you need to cover something we haven't previously addressed, shoot me a PM and I can reopen.
