I have recently been accepted to the Rutgers study abroad program at the Globe for the fall, as I know there are many Rutgers students and alum here, if anyone has been on this trip and could share their experiences, it would be much appreciated.  Thanks!!!

Ugh, I'd so much love to do that program! I'm just really beginning my program at my school next semester so I wouldn't even think of being able to apply at this time. How often do they do this program? Anyone know?

I was part of the first class of stage managers that ever did this program 4 years ago.  We were the ones who pushed for it and made it happen.  Yea it is a lot of money and i'm paying those student loans off right now, but IT IS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How many times can you say you studied as a stage manager at the Globe Theatre in London.  I had two externships while over there, one actually being on a show in the West End (their Broadway).  Got to experience amazing theater and meet many working professionals. It gives you an outlook on stage management and theatre from a different point of view b/c it's a little different over there at times.  I can write a pages and pages about this program and how much this experience has helped me in my career, but I won't bore you.  Don't let money control your decision, I would have regreted never going.  Let me know if I can help you with anything specifically.
